The Silver Grill Family

John Arnolfo
Serving the community in more ways than just eggs

John moved from San Francisco to Fort Collins in 1969, to attend CSU, where he majored in Finance/ Real Estate. While in school, he acquired his real estate license and worked for Bob Busch Realty. After graduation he took a bit of time out to enjoy the slopes of Vail and work in the restaurant industry.

John returned to Fort Collins in 1979 and bought the Silver Grill Cafe, a modest eatery with a seating capacity of 40. With the purchase of four additional buildings and four expansions the restaurant has grown to a capacity of 150. Although John is not leaving the Silver Grill, he has decided to diversify his interests and has taken on his long time manager, Carrie Hartwell, as a managing partner.

Two years ago, John reactivated his real estate license and most recently has chosen to work with Mike Jensen of Fort Collins Real Estate. John will represent both commercial and residential properties in Fort Collins. Because of his knowledge and continuing commitment, he will specialize in the Downtown and Old Town area.

John is dedicated to...family...friends...Fort Collins.

Carrie Hartwell

Carrie Hartwell, Managing Partner, at the Silver Grill is a native Coloradoan. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a major and minor in business administration and marketing.

Directly after college graduation Carrie moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a district manager for the franchises of Granny's Buns - a popular cinnamon roll establishment.

Carrie missed Colorado and moved back to her roots in 1990 when she was hired by the Silver Grill as the Dining Manager and moved up to General Manager in 1994.

Carrie left the Silver Grill for a time and went into the insurance industry. The Silver Grill was fortunate enough to have Carrie rejoin the team as Managing Partner in 2000.
